In July 2019, the JD Sheth Foundation completed our fifth housing project! With the help of 35 volunteers, we built three 1-room houses and one 3-room house for families in Guatemala. We again partnered with Constru Casa, who worked to find the families in need of the houses.
In addition to the houses, we also worked on building a therapeutic pool and a handicap accessible bathroom for a nonprofit in Santiago that helps local people with disabilities. This was an exciting, new type of project for us; one that will benefit many people in the community.
We would like to thank all of our volunteers who take the time to join us on these builds! We couldn’t do it without you! Also, a huge thank you to those who sponsored a house: Pollux Systems, Inc., HOLA Evansville, the Greenwell Family, and Cathy Graper.
