Our Mission
The JD Sheth Foundation is a project to project based organization focusing on the education, health, and well being of others, specifically children and the elderly, here in the United States and across the globe.
About Us
WE ARE ONE. Each life matters. Where our footprint can make a difference, we will go. We are adaptable in our strategies to make the biggest impact and will go wherever we need to in order to improve lives. Whether it is building a school in Guatemala, a water well in the Congo, or affordable housing in Evansville, IN, we are driven to help. We owe it to ourselves and each other to help make the world a better place. The world is small and our lives are not our own. The JD Sheth Foundation is dedicated to maximizing each dollar you donate to support our efforts.

Our Five Pillars
Affordable & Secure Housing
The JD Sheth Foundation has built 24 homes for those living in extreme poverty in Belize, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. All of our homes have indoor plumbing, with westernized toilets for proper hygiene, and a locking door and window for security. In 2022, we constructed three homes in Evansville, IN to provide veterans with affordable housing opportunities with our Home of the Brave project. We have implemented our Affordable Housing for All program, which expands affordable housing opportunities in our community.
Education - School Construction & Renovations
The JD Sheth Foundation has constructed a boarding house / school in Thailand and a school in Guatemala. We continue to look for opportunities to support infrastructure and provide equity in education for all children. Within Evansville, JD Sheth has adopted Glenwood Leadership Academy (GLA) and committed to providing $10,000 of infrastructure upgrades annually.
Clean Water & Sanitation
The JD Sheth Foundation works to provide clean drinking water by supplying water filters in all of the homes and schools we build. We have also funded new water wells for communities to reduce water borne illness, water harvesting tanks to help with water conservation, and a water hauling truck to provide access to potable water. JD Sheth is committed to providing the infrastructure to support bathroom renovations and the installation of westernized toilets and showers globally to promote proper hygiene and overall health and wellness.
Energy Efficiency
Globally, the JD Sheth Foundation’s primary focus is the implementation of solar panels for schools in the developing world where electricity isn’t reliable and/or absent and electric bills can be expensive. We have also provided new kitchen stoves for all of our homes in Guatemala and for our kitchen in Kenya; which are more energy efficient and greatly reduce smoke inhalation. Locally, JD Sheth has partnered with the City of Evansville to enhance CenterPoint Energy’s Neighborhood Weatherization Program.
Food Security
The JD Sheth Foundation has supported the construction of a feeding shelter in the Philippines and a pig farm for an orphanage in Myanmar. We have provided a school in Kenya with a kitchen and dining hall, which included a water filtration system and an energy efficient stove. In Evansville, IN, we have funded the installation of an air purification system for the Tri-State Food Bank to prolong food freshness and minimize food waste. We are committed to providing sustainable solutions to food security throughout the world.
