Construction has been completed on the first JD Sheth pocket park!! EAJ Park was constructed on an empty lot (owned by ECHO Housing) across the street from Lucas Place II to provide a greenspace for the residing veterans to congregate and socialize with other veterans within the community. A pocket park is a small park often built in unused urban spaces. Lucas Place II is permanent supportive housing for previously homeless veterans run by ECHO Housing Corp. We are excited to continue to support ECHO Housing with this project! Thank you to PMG Tree Care & Landscape Company of Evansville, IN for all of their hard work on park construction! Also, thank you to our bench and tree sponsors - we were able to get all of the benches and trees sponsored!
