Air Purification System for Tri-State Food Bank

The JD Sheth Foundation purchased an air purification system for the Agency Shopping Area of the Tri-State Food Bank in Evansville, IN in the first quarter of 2021. This is our first partnership with this amazing organization.  In 2020, the Tri-State Food Bank moved their operations into a new, state-of-the-art, 80,000 sqft facility.  The Agency Shopping Area of the new facility is a 1,300 sqft area where local agencies (food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters) select fresh fruits and vegetables to feed those in need.  The air purification system prolongs the freshness of the produce to help ensure food safety and minimize food waste.

This project was fully funded through private donations and our Virtual Cooking Class Fundraiser with Scott Schymik (Owner/Operator of Sauced and Schymik’s Kitchen in Evansville). Thank you to all of our donors, virtual cooking class participants, and Scott Schymik for volunteering his time and his continued support.
