Ethiopia Medical Mission

In February 2014, Jaimie Sheth spent three weeks volunteering on a medical mission trip in the city of Asosa, Ethiopia and its rural villages, near the south Sudan border. The focus was medical assistance, water filtration system implementation, and education. It was an amazing experience to be able to identify the needs of the people and to potentially eradicate water borne disease from rural villages. This was the most poverty stricken part of the world that Jaimie had experienced thus far and it was this project which pushed her to apply for the 501(c)3 nonprofit status through the US government. There is such a need and we can do more as a foundation. Our application was approved for our nonprofit tax exempt status as a US recognized charitable foundation in May 2015.
